I recently had the incredible opportunity to complete a 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 with the Institute of International Peace Leaders(𝗜𝗜𝗣𝗟)— a global think tank committed to peacebuilding, diplomacy, and empowering youth voices.
🔹 The internship was remote, flexible, and packed with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute.
🔹 I was honoured to be one of the 𝟮𝟰𝟲 internees seleced for the 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹-𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 2025 𝚜𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗.
🔹 The journey began with a powerful 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢 𝚜𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 supervised by 𝗠𝘀. laraib javaid (𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗜𝗜𝗣𝗟) and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗔. 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗾𝗶 (𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝗜𝗜𝗣𝗟).
💡 One of the highlights of our first session was an insightful lecture on "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀" by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗭𝘂𝗹𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗮, Associate Professor from Azerbaijan — a session that truly elevated our learning experience.
I’m also proud to share that 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 of my 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 were 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 and 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱:

This internship not only 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 my 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 and 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 but also 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 my 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. A heartfelt thank you to laraib javaid, Hira A. I’m honored to have successfully completed my internship with the Institute of International Peace Leaders (IIPL) for the April–June 2025 session. This journey has been truly transformative and filled with learning, growth, and meaningful impact.
💼 During this internship, I had the opportunity to:

🌍 Proud to be an IIPL Intern! 🌍
I’m thrilled to share that I have successfully completed a two-month remote internship (April–June 2025) with the Institute of International Peace Leaders (IIPL) — a prestigious global think tank dedicated to peace building, diplomacy, and empowering youth leadership.
Out of hundreds of applicants, I was honored to be selected among 150 interns worldwide. This internship provided me with a flexible yet impactful platform to enhance my research, writing, and diplomatic skills.
🔹 The journey kicked off with a powerful inaugural session led by Ms . Laraib Javaid (Director, Internship Programs) and Ms. Hira A. Siddiqi (Director, Diplomatic Affairs), featuring an eye-opening lecture by Ms. Fergana Zulfugarova, Associate Professor from Azerbaijan, on "How to Improve Writing Skills".
📚 I’m especially proud to share that both of my research articles were selected and published by IIPL:
1. China's cultural diplomacy towards Pakistan
2. Role of naval power during peace diplomacy and crisis termination
This internship was a transformative experience that broadened my understanding of global affairs, public health diplomacy, and the power of youth-led change.

Excited to share my most recent accomplishment! 😃 I completed a two-month internship at Institute of International Peace Leaders , where I had the opportunity to research and write about significant issues that impact our world. I am pleased to announce that two of my articles were published:
Technology for Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Response: A discussion of the power of technology in supporting disaster response and humanitarian aid, and how that technology could be utilized to save lives and alleviate suffering.
Greening the Future: The Interface of Nature and Peace: An exploration of the relationship between the natural environment and peace, examining how sustainable practices can contribute to a more peaceful world.
This internship was an amazing experience that allowed me to grow my research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
